1. Acceptance and scope
These terms cover the Medori mobile app and this website. Using either one means you accept them.
If you don't agree with something here, don't use Medori. There's no other version of the agreement.
2. Eligibility and account
You sign in with Apple or Google. Medori never collects or stores a password — there isn't one to lose or leak.
One account per person. Your Apple or Google identity is the only way into your Medori account, so keeping that identity secure is your responsibility. If someone else can sign in as you with Apple or Google, they can reach your Medori data too.
3. What the service is — and what it is not
Medori is a reminder tool. That's the whole product, and it's worth being precise about where it stops.
Medori does not pay bills on your behalf. It does not submit meter readings or any other data to a utility, a landlord, or any other third party. It does not guarantee delivery of any notification — push delivery depends on your device, your operating system, and network conditions, none of which Medori controls. Missing a payment or a deadline remains entirely your responsibility. Medori is a memory aid, not a payment or filing service.
Treat a Medori reminder the way you'd treat a note on the fridge: useful, but not a substitute for checking with the people you actually owe money to.
4. Free tier and Medori Pro
Medori is free to use. The free tier gives you up to 5 active reminders, with full notifications, offline mode, sync, themes, and every supported language, plus analytics covering the last 3 months.
Medori Pro — available as a Monthly or Yearly subscription, or as a one-time Lifetime purchase — adds as many reminders as you need, analytics for the whole period, history export to CSV, and new Pro features as they ship.
Losing Pro never deletes your reminders. If your subscription lapses, you keep every reminder you already made and they keep notifying you. The only thing you lose is the ability to add a new reminder beyond the free limit, until you're either back under that limit or back on Pro.
5. Billing
All payments run through the App Store or Google Play. You buy from Apple or Google, not from Medori directly.
Monthly and Yearly subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them, and you cancel them in your own App Store or Google Play account settings. Medori cannot cancel a subscription for you, and Medori cannot issue a refund — we have no access to those controls. Refunds are governed by the store's own policy, so a refund request goes to Apple or Google.
Lifetime is a one-time payment. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Medori to store or share unlawful content. Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or abuse the service or the servers behind it. Don't reverse-engineer the app beyond what applicable law permits.
7. Your content
What you put into Medori is yours. Reminder titles, notes, amounts, meter readings, photos you attach — all of it stays your content, and using Medori doesn't transfer ownership of any of it.
You grant Medori only the licence it needs to run the service for you: to store your content, sync it between your devices, and display it back to you. Nothing broader than that. Medori does not use your content for any other purpose.
8. Availability, changes, and discontinuation
We aim to keep Medori available and working, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, and features may be discontinued.
For anything material, we'll try to give reasonable notice before it happens.
9. Termination and account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account.
When you do, your reminders and notifications stop immediately. Your account and all of its data are then permanently and irreversibly erased 30 days later. If you change your mind and sign back in before those 30 days are up, everything is restored.
After the 30 days, the data is gone. We cannot bring it back.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Medori is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
To the extent permitted by law, Medori is not liable for missed payments, late fees, or any other consequence of a notification that didn't arrive, arrived late, or was inaccurate because of factors outside Medori's control — your device settings, your operating system's behaviour, or network conditions. This is the same point as section 3, stated in legal terms: the reminder is a prompt, and acting on it is yours to do.
11. Governing law and dispute resolution
Medori is operated from Ukraine, and these terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine.
If a dispute can't be resolved directly with us, it's resolved in the courts of Ukraine, unless a mandatory rule of your own country gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
If you're a consumer living in the EU or EEA, this section doesn't take away any consumer-protection rights your own country's law gives you, regardless of where Medori is based.
12. Changes to these terms; contact
When these terms change, the "last updated" date at the top of this page changes with them. For anything material, we'll also surface the change in the app rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
Questions about any of this go to support@medori.app.
